Spotify stops playing after a few seconds pc
Spotify has been suddenly doing this strange thing where a song will begin to play and stop after a few seconds typically at the 6-second mark. If I try to play it again, it will refuse to play any of the song at all.
Other songs will not load and play at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify several times. I've reset my computer several times. I've gone into Spotify's files and deleted certain ones I think may be causing the issue.
Nothing has solved it yet, and it's been going on for about a week. I am at a complete loss here and need some help. Go to Solution. You'll see a handful of files. Examples may look like: 0. It stopssometimes even more times during one song! It means when I'm trying to listen to music, I have to hold phone in my hand and unpause song all the time! It continues from where it was paused. I had some feeling that it reacts on motion, because if I am holding it still in one position, it usually works, but if i move my hand or put the phone in my pocket or bag, music just stops.
Probably it has nothing to do with the problem, but who knows Also, sometimes when I unpause the song, it starts playing it on the phones built-in speaker, like it doesn't see headphones I have the exact same issue Tamara mentions on my Lumia I first experienced this issue after the installation of the Denim Update. I had also received an update for the Spotify app, but every other app that I can play music with has the same issue, Mix Radio, Xbox Music and Spotify.
Tamara mentions that it reacts on motion so I uninstalled the Gestures Beta app but that doesn't seem to work. I also tried to keep my phone as still as possible but still the issue arises. When I use the speakers the music keeps playing and everything is ok. I never use Bluetooth headphones. But after a few seconds it pauses automatically. My issue was caused by a 'broken' headphone.
